Rental Property Investment Calculator – Looking at the Numbers

Are you currently looking at purchasing your first rental property or starting a real estate acquisition business? I have been a rental owner for over 10 years. I have seen a lot of rough roads and experienced a lot of smooth sailing over the years. But let’s take this in steps:

The first step is to determine the actual numbers and see if a property is even profitable. To do this, I have created a rental property calculator that allows you to input your own numbers, and it breaks down all the necessary financial parameters to consider. It helps to determine ARV (After-Repair Value) so you can compare against the current value and gauge the upside. You can play around with rents to charge, fees to factor, and you can look out 5 or more years. I will upload a video here that demonstrates how this calculator works.
