Discussion of Asset Protection and Insurance Topics
What happens when a loved one dies without a Will?
Most of us reading this don’t have life insurance, a will, or any plan in place in the event you pass, especially if it’s unexpected. And most people would be amazed at how easy it is and how relatively inexpensive. A will can be drafted using free online templates. Or as simple as just writing down a conversation on paper, then taking it to a notary and getting it notarized – make copies to be on the safe side. And you’re done, will completed.
Life insurance is just as easy. A basic online life insurance search will give you many places to call and ask for free quotes and education. For example, someone who is under 40 years old could get a $100,000 Term Life Insurance Policy (term meaning for a set number of years, i.e., 10, 20, 30 years), for as little as $20/mo.
My dad died without life insurance or a will right before Christmas. That moment left our family scrambling to determine arrangements and pay for final expenses. If you are over 40, there are still many options to get some level of coverage.
I don’t want your family to experience what my family experienced. And I can promise you it is easier and much more affordable than you think. You can literally be covered by the end of the day today. Shoot me an email or leave a comment below, and I would be happy to help.
At the very least, please use this post to think about your own family and your own plans if you pass away. Because once you’re gone, there is no going back – and the older you get, the more expensive it becomes. -Adrian Holguin
Supplemental Hospital Insurance Protection
Have you ever gone to the hospital unexpectedly, having to take time off work, perhaps even with no PTO available – leaving you with a smaller paycheck AND hospital bills? For as little as .50c per day, you can start a policy that will pay you $250 per day in the hospital for up to 365 days and $500 for ambulance or $1,000 for air ambulance. I have been in the insurance industry for 6 years, and I can tell you that this is one of the most widely used policies. People who commute, work outside, hike, snowboard, have a scooter, ride a motorcycle, and much more have found this policy to be an absolute lifesaver! I would love to hear more about you all and your families. If you leave a comment, I will make sure to respond with a personalized response to any questions or thoughts you have on this coverage. -Adrian Holguin
